A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

Well, ole Joe was old then too. That was merely 10 years ago when he was running for VP. I wonder when he had his epiphany? pinocchio

Maybe, like a lot of his generation, he needed then to be educated on the subject. Only a bonehead never changes his mind.

Or maybe Mr Biden chases the breezy vagaries of popular opinion.

I personally feel no issue with it all. Given the current circumstances of modern marriage I am most likely to attend based on the length of the ceremony and the reception menu. If I can get a little inebriated, eat some good food and go dance like a goof with half a dozen old ladies in addition to having some good conversation with great people, I'm in. For anything else, maybe I'll attend your next nuptuals. Keep in mind the menu part.
" Do they have crab cakes? You know I love crab cakes! If you see any, grab me some crab cakes!"

Regardless the couple, here in DLG the unions are mostly baloney and I go for the keg beer.

I'm really, really certain my salvation, nor any of my other friends here's salvation is based on their gay marriage views. If they wanna, then have at it. Didn't last long for me fyi.

Certainly. He's a politician. A change of his constituants' views results in a change of his opinion. Or a change in the law (Supreme Court decision), which occurred after that video was recorded.

Is that a good or bad thing?

It’s what politicians do. He’s a liar just like all the politicians before him. His opinion changes with his party’s will. What is reprehensible, is the media covering for him, or any other politician that they wish well on. When the people that are supposed to report the “News”, decide what the “People” should see, or not see, they have become pond scum. What’s the solution though? Jail the news folks for lack of candor? The only hope I feel, is that they end up in the same HELL that the politicians do. Meanwhile, our country is fucked.
