Im pleased people like her are prepared to criticise from inside. She has gone out on a number of limbs over the problems in science in general.

This one is important.

I watch her regularly, a very thought provoking lady.

While arguing the predictive value of data aimed at predicting a time-lime for change and then launching into an add for effective conservation for remaining wild places (which I applaud btw)…

…I believe even Dr. Hossenfelder even puts blinders on to the ‘actual problem’ — human population growth. Wild habitat will never increase over the globe and the changes caused by man are ‘only’ going to get worse because there is a finite amount of space and resources.

Until we acknowledge that fact…the rest is only semantics.

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

Incredibly dry sense of humour too. I always watched her videos but really took note when she explained why she walked away from the university system and why she thought alot of science was wasted time and money Designed to keep people employed in that system.
