A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. I wish everyone the world over had the dominating spirit that motivates Texans.– Billy Clayton, Speaker of the Texas House

No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born in Texas.— Queen Elizabeth II on her visit to Texas in May, 1991.

I remember that too, just as well that W wasn't there to help him with his version of the word.

Well he didn't get any breaks. A jury agreed upon by both the prosecutor and the defense heard the evidence, then sent him up.
From the peanut gallery, I would have thought involuntary manslaughter would have been about right.

By all accounts, Chauvin was a thug. By all accounts Floyd was a felon. I'm not defending Chauvin, but he should never have been put in the general population of a prison. This was clearly foreseeable to prison officials and inexcusable, in my opinion.

The next thing I'd like everyone to think about is the mob mentality of the American people since the Obama Administration. From BLM to the current protests in favor of Hamas. Is that the mob that you would want to sit on your jury if you were unfortunate enough to be charged with a crime?

He's in a Federal Prison, Administrative Segregation with the snitches and child molesters is his for the asking.

If he was put in against his will he would sue for cruel and unusual punishment.
