Now he is comparing his legal prosecution to the case of Alexei Navalny!
He has clearly lost touch with reality and needs to be housed in a very nice rest home for the elderly and confused.

WAPO:

Donald Trump and some of his allies continue to compare his legal problems to the plight of Alexei Navalny, while the former president has yet to condemn the Friday death of the imprisoned Russian dissident who was President Vladimir Putin’s strongest critic.

“It’s a form of Navalny,” Trump said at a Fox News town hall on Tuesday, responding to a question from Laura Ingraham about the $355 million fine against his businesses after a New York civil trial. “It’s happening in our country too.”

Last week, Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny died in a Russian penal colony, sparking worldwide condemnation.

“We are turning into a communist country in many ways,” Trump continued. “I got indicted four times, I have eight or nine trials. All because of the fact that I’m in, you know this, all because of the fact that I’m in politics. They indicted me.”

Navalny, a prominent political dissident, died in a Russian prison after surviving a near-fatal poisoning in 2020. Trump’s televised comments on Tuesday elaborated on social media posts likening his prosecution in four separate cases to Navalny’s death, saying it “made me more and more aware of what is happening in” the United States.

Meanwhile, trump's buddy Putin is arresting Americans in Russia.

>>The White House has said it is seeking information after Russia announced it had arrested a dual US-Russian citizen on treason charges, accusing her of collecting funds for Ukrainian organisations and openly opposing the Russian war in Ukraine.

A Russian legal NGO, First Dept, said the woman, named by the media in Russia as Ksenia Khavana, may stand accused of transferring $51 (£40) to a Ukrainian charity on 24 February 2022, the day Vladimir Putin launched his invasion of Ukraine. She faces up to 20 years in prison.<<<

Just another in the long list of values that the MAGAggots give lip service to and then completely ignore when it comes to the leader of their cult. Family values. Honesty. Integrity. Law and order. Now personal responsibility. Instead of taking personal responsibility for things he did in his past, the cult leader plays the victim card. Worse he tries to paint himself in the same light as true patriots. And what do the MAGAggots do? They line up to support him talking about how unfair and unjust the system is for trying to hold the man accountable for his own actions.

Yeah, donating $21 to a humanitarian effort is high treason.

Biden misspeaks at times, but doesn't say deranged things like Trump does. I'd rather have a senile person than a deranged person in the White House.

Bill,

Trumps comparison seems pretty apt to me. While Democrats don't seem to have stooped to assassinating their political opponents in the US yet, they certainly persecute them with ridiculous civil lawsuits and criminal charges. The message is the same. Do what we say or we'll ruin you somehow, someway, justified or not.

Well, President Biden has not called for the suspension of the Constitution, and his immediate reinstatement to the Office of President.

I think this dementia stuff to either person is reckless. My understanding, dementia is a clinical diagnosis. One known of us are qualified to make, even the MD, from a tv screen.

I did not like it when it was done to President Trump during his term.

This statements also ignore the fact these two are acting w agency with consequences.

I am not qualified to diagnose whether Trump is suffering from dementia or not, but I'm well qualified to say he's fucking nuts.

Right. Being imprisoned and killed in a Siberian gulag for your political views is the same as being held accountable in a US court for sexual assault, sedition and fraud. 2020

Are you really a lawyer?

. . . yes, it is certainly refreshing to see that the GOP is immune to political persecution of its opponents, e.g., things like threatening judges, impeaching cabinet members, pursuing members of the President's family. Glad one party has decided to stay out of the mud and above the fray.
