Enigma,
You are pretty dense, so need to explain a few things that you were unable to comprehend .
First, your statement by you about going to drink some “BUD LIGHTS” as being a joke is not a joke OR FUNNY at all but a admission by you, that you are are really enforcing your commitment to the WOKE TRANSGENDER MOVEMENT.
“BUDLIGHT” = TRANSGENDER WOKEISM
I don’t find your radical liberal woke democratic support of the woke transgender movements to have any humor at all, actually it’s pretty degenerate and disgusting.
So go drink all the BUDLIGHT your little WOKE mind and body can handle.

This is a pretty good synopsis. The GOP has the chance now to show the country that they can lead the country in a sane manner.

I hope it happens.

I don’t expect miracles. Trump will continue to make statements at times that invite ridicule, but hopefully we will see governance on fiscally conservative principles.

Nows the chance for folks like Lane (and myself, admittedly) to try and convince the GOP leadership to take the high road and in 4 years Vance can point to a record of success and achievements and the GOP will continue to lead the nation.

The good news. We do not have to deal with another 2020 Big Lie and the associated damage to the democratic institution of our elections and the divisiveness fomented by the Big Lie. We can look forward to a peaceful transfer of power unlike 2020. The GOP now controls both the Executive and Legislative branches, so they should be able to take on our country's profligate spending, healthcare, border security and other vexing issues . . . and if they don't there is no one to blame but themselves. They have a busy two years ahead of them. There is always the hope (not necessarily the expectation) that Trump may use his lame duck status to become more unifying in his messaging.

The bad news. Trump is still Trump, so while we can hope that his rhetoric about this being a time to heal is sincere, there is really no basis to believe that will be the case.

I think we will know a lot more once we see the cabinet picks start to be announced. Are they people of character with backgrounds of success and achievement or are they a group of yes-men and yes-women that were selected based solely on their willingness not to say no. In 2016 I was encouraged by Trump's cabinet picks but it soon became obvious that he had no intention of letting them do their jobs. So in 2024 I will again will hopeful that the leopard can change his spots . . . albeit skeptical. He is our President and we all hope that he, and the rest of the GOP, can do more to unify us than divide us.

I see that you guys use the word "hope" a lot.

By this time you should have no doubt what Trump is gonna do.

And, you put guys like Gym Jordon, MAGA Mike, Rand Paul, Cruz, Ron Johnson, etc., the hope for the best?

Real conservatives aren't radicalized. Thus "radicalized conservative" is an oxymoron. Yet there are many radicalized republicans.
