From the Special Prosecutor's filing: >>>The filing described what the then-president told key figures in his orbit, including vice president Mike Pence, attorney Rudy Giuliani and senior White House and Republican Party officials, though it shielded some of their names. It also detailed what Trump was doing on Jan. 6, as his supporters stormed the Capitol, describing a scene in which he expressed ambivalence after an aide rushed to the dining room to share that action was being taken to ensure Pence’s safety. “The defendant looked at him and said only, ‘So what?’"” the filing alleges.<<<< https://www.washingtonpost.com...rump-immunity-jan-6/ -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

Dr. Easter has made it clear that he does not believe Trump bares responsibility, had any duty to stop, and Jan 6 was not that big of a deal.

Actually, if I'm reading it correctly, Trump's "So What?" response was to being told that Vice President Pence was in danger. A campaign staffer, Mike Roman, under indictment for activities in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin to overturn the vote, texted at one point "Make them riot!". The government also recovered all the activity on Trump's phones from the period in question. Another cohort of Republicans with some shreds of decency left will abandon him now. Despite Dr. Easter and others attempts to minimize Trump’s responsibility on Jan 6, here is a real historian who compares Trump to a want to be tyrant. I said on this forum long ago that Trump committed the oldest Sin against a Republic by seeking mob violence to set aside constitutional norms to seize political power. Brutus killed Caesar bc his ancestor overthrew the last king of Rome. The comparison of Trump comes early. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y12oMvRKNbs&t=599s
