Listen to his words. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKw5tC9VOIg

Remember when The Republican Party was the Law & Order Party, The Support Police Officers Party, The Defend The Constitution Party. That Republican Party is dead. It's The Stick Your Nose In Trump's Ass Party now; The Scandal & Corruption Party.

Proud to be a RINO.

Textbook Obstruction of Justice, but DOJ already has the tapes.

What he wants to do is prevent those faces from being shown on the internet where more of them can be identified.

If he wants to protect violent criminals, maybe it is an attempt to reach across the aisle and garner democrat votes.

Of course he wants to protect them.

They can't vote for trump when they're in prison after a felony conviction for sedition.

He actually said this:

"We have to blur some of the faces who participated in the events of that day because we don't want them to be retaliated against and to be charged by the DOJ."

Unbelievable. Imagine the DOJ prosecuting seditionists and traitors. 2020

That actually strikes me as admitting the DOJ is doing some of this politically.

The DOJ has the source tapes.

If the local democrats start screaming “I see Joe blow, he’s a seditionist and the FBI should charge him!” then the politicians start railing at the DOJ and they push charges.

It’s not like at this time, with modern technology the FBI doesn’t know and have a file on each person that was there and hasn’t already charged pretty much everyone they think was worthy of charging that they have enough evidence on.

The Republican Party has lost all pretense of being pro-American, pro-democracy.

That's beside the point. The thought of obstructing justice, from a position of power, is what counts. It's pure intent. And he's righteous about it.

It is an enormous clue of what he will do and justify the means to the end.

What on earth does that have to do with it? And, if it's true, shouldn't Johnson know that? His statments are reprehensible. "Let's protect the criminals who stormed the Capital."

And, here you are defending it with your hair-splitting, as usual. 2020

How is it obstructing Justice?

The feds already have the information.

Also, did Johnson actually use those words in the quotation. I skimmed the article and didn’t see it. Putting a paraphrase in quotes is misleading.

I agree that it’s a poor optic, but if the justice system is being taken over by mob rule, we’ve got more serious problems than 1/6.

Okay Doc, I found someone who's qualified to agree with you. But he only partially agrees with you. The analysis in this video is very thorough. I hope your attention span is long enough to watch the whole thing.

How do you know what the feds have? You think the feds know the identity of every one of the thousands of folks that were out there that day? If that's true, then why are there still people being put in jail every week for being there? It's a process and Johnson wants to make sure he doesn't put any of your buddies in jail.
