I saw the headlines from Fox, didn't read the article, that said there have been 32,000 new applications nationwide for Turning Point USA chapters.

I also saw a news video from MSNBC about Trump calling for national healing while continuing to lay blame on "radical liberals".

The thing I noticed was they merely reported it and quoted him. No deciphering. And they showed pictures of mass protests, which had already been planned.

The thing is that I figured there was a good chance we could avoid the nation going full-on christofascist. I don't figure that anymore.

The fellow suffered an undeserved fate but the efforts to martyr him are purely political. Most folks had no clue who the guy was until he was shot. Now some nuts want to build a national monument to the man.
