Motion for trial date. We will never know what poisonous effect this may have had on her jury pool. Now, what the Judge did was give her an option based on the appearance of impropriety to decide herself or her lover be recused. Must be stated that no actual impropriety was found. I doubt the state appellate courts touch this.

Since she had such a hard time getting a special prosecutor it would seem that she should replace herself. Is she allowed to "coach" the replacement? Give me a home where the buffalo roam and I'll show you a house full of buffalo shit.

I'd hoped a young judge would have more courage.

She ought to recuse herself, and would do so if she cared about the prosecution as much as her own political ambitions. She is not going to like the jury, methinks.

Well, Articles of Impeachment have passed the House twice. To paraphrase Kat Williams, “No convictions upon any Articles of Impeachment in the Senate.” The House acts like an induction or charging body and the Senate acts like a trial on the Articles.

I agree she should recuse. The jury make-up, not so sure. 73% of the county voted Democrat in the 2020 presidential election. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.
