The FBI is not there because the Biden people are not claiming they gave them all up while still having docs.

Ann and JTEX have sure been posting a lot about Biden's mishandling of classified documents. Where have they been for a while? When posts were made about Trump's wrongdoing. I've often seem them yell about Democrat hypocrisy. Then they do it themselves.

Yes, boys and girls, hypocrisy is our word of the day.

As I see it, the big difference is that Biden apparently had no intent to keep the documents, while Trump refused to return them, evidencing an intent to keep the documents. Either or both men may be subject to prosecution. They both deserve a good legal spanking.

I am very troubled by the apparent amount of classified material mishandled by President Biden. I have voiced my distinctions between him and President Trump.

I just checked. The Fed Act still requires gross negligence. I have full faith the Independent Counsel will make the legal determination. I await his conclusions, more importantly his reasoning.

The difference is one self reported and surrendered. The other mislead on a subpoena and refused.

I have no issue not rebuttal to anyone who proffers this is reason enough not to vote for President Biden. I have little objection to those who say this mishandling is impeachable; even not criminal. That is because impeachment is a political process as stated by the S. Ct.

If President Trump had surrendered the docs like President Biden and HRC did (per Comey) there would have been no search subsequent to a search warrant.

Destroying 33,000 emails is not turning over documents.

Much of this is his/her word vs. what really happened. I have seen many reports that the agency/archive involved concerning Trump was in his residence and looked everything over, took some things and told him to keep the rest under lock and key. That had the ability to take it all, as I understood it, and chose not to.

Again, a President has the ability to declassify. A VP does not. Yet as a VP 0biden had taken classified docs and has had them for at least what, ten years? I don't know how Roland thinks 0biden had no intent of keeping anything?

0biden has been treated vastly differently on this situation and he also was quite outspoken in a very negative way concerning his predecessor. 0biden really looks bad. Especially seeing more stuff seems to be found every couple of days. And knowing his collection of docs were available to anyone in the home. They really weren't under lock and key.

There is no way Garland or any of the DOJ can be counted on to be fair, objective or trustworthy on handling this investigation period.

I think first and foremost when they went overboard in an effort to discredit and destroy they stepped on their dicks and tripped bad. Now they are stuck with their boss doing the very same thing except some of what he did was illegal for sure as a VP.

It's pretty clear there has been a VERY long history of presidents, past and present who have taken so-called classified docs. No one made a big deal until it was trump. Yes, there was a slight effort with hilly but that died fast due to her connections. The liberal's constant shit show upon trump is showing how much time, taxpayer money and effort they are wasting.

I think all that garland can do is a verbal spanking. If govt/congress wants docs handled differently then they need to act. Until then the prez can declass and keep what they want. VP's and others cannot.

Wondering if kamela has a stash now?

I am not sure if the 33k number.

Per Comey, the emails were identified and “majority” recovered with full cooperation from HEC people. Unlike President Try p who has not cooperated see the subpoena and multiple requests to return.

I have read and understand Comey’s explanation. Without going through the Fed Cases that backbone that opinion myself.

He had these for 6+ years. It was (to the best of my knowledge) never even legal for him to have them where they are. They keep finding more. And, I would bet at some point he has been asked if he had any.

He likely does even have more even now.

If this was equitable…the FBI would have been deployed by now. But we all know it was a revenge hit job on Trump with zero precedent and there is no equity in today’s Fed government.

You keep ignoring the fact that docs are being voluntarily surrendered. That is the difference.

Go read the Fed Circuit Court of Appeals out of GA opinion on President Trump’s actions. I gave it to you that you just ignored.

Both have Independent Counsel. I just read a Politico piece on President Biden that gave him the business. The press as more docs come to light is threatening this very serious.

Why would you send the FBI to get documents that he hasn't refused to return? Remember that someone blew the whistle on trump so they knew that he had them. Who blew the whistle on Biden? Where's your probable cause?

Is that a joke? Some of these documents have been lying around for 6+ years and they were not supposed to have been out to begin with. With 3 batches now just “randomly found” you don’t think there is probable cause to search for more??? Give me a break.

These documents are either important or they aren’t cannot have it both ways.

Where is the probable cause that more documents exist and that they require a raid in order to recover them because the current possessor is refusing to surrender them is what I'm getting at. As I asked, did someone blow the whistle that there are still more documents in Biden's possession? You can't just conduct a raid because you think that there MIGHT be something there. In trump's case they knew that he had them.

I believe that he did allow or conduct a search of his personal residence.

“Probable” cause. There is now plenty of reason to suspect there are more which is what probable means.

Besides this…Trump was allowed to possess them. It is still unclear whether he broke the law. It clearly looks as if Biden broke the law as them merely being stored at these locations was against the law for the then vice President. At least this is how I understand it. I stand to be corrected.

In all reality…I am not advocating a raid…merely pointing out the hypocrisy. Mar-a-lago should have never been raided either. When Garland pulled this unprecedented action…he unleashed revenge politics that will plague us for decades.

Guaranteed, they (Bushes, Clinton, 0bama) all took them. It was the precedent that it was no big deal. The Trump raid was a political hit job. Now, with the Biden document scandal…I am betting Garland is thinking dammit!

Im not really interested in who did it worse, But it seems senior govt members from all walks have been flouting rules designed for national security and protections from fraud. Be it Biden, Trump, or Hilary and her phone.

Seems to me looking form the outside, that the bureaucracy that enforces this sort of thing needs to start making some examples that let future leaders know that its not OK!

trump would have likewise been off the hook simply by returning what belonged to the Government after he got caught. Just about all cases of unintentional and/or incidental document removal are handled like that. Let's see how the investigation/s play out. If I was a betting man, I'd bet that Sleepy Joe is in a safer spot than trump.

Given Biden's diatribes on the subject... No.

His statements essentially stated keeping them at all is gross negligence.

Honestly, I think Biden should be found incompetent to stand trial as demented, but that's a different subject. That would also get him out of the WH...and Kamala in, so maybe it's better to just let him be.

No…not really.

Why were they packed in boxes and stored in his garage? That alone speaks volumes as “intent to keep.” Otherwise, when packed…they would have been sent to archives.

Come on. Do you keep your valuable documents in a cardboard box in your garage?

The only way you'd do that is if you don't know the valuable documents are there.

I've been shown no evidence of intent by Biden to keep those few pages of secret documents. He turned them over as soon as he learned about them. No law enforcement agency had to serve him a search warrant and forcibly remove the documents.

Lane, I suspect you're smart enough to know the above, and are just pulling our legs.

Having something for 6+ years that one was not supposed have to begin with is not “intent to keep?” 2020

Honestly, don't you think it's more likely the documents were simply forgotten?

No…not really.

Why were they packed in boxes and stored in his garage? That alone speaks volumes as “intent to keep.” Otherwise, when packed…they would have been sent to archives.

Malets sense to normal human beings.

A great line by an apologist that just wants anything for the old fool to be innocent......

The difference between Biden and Trump is like night and day.

One is president.

The other one was an ex.

Good riddance! clap

I sure as hell don’t have anything there I am not intent on keeping. You?

The only way you'd do that is if you don't know the valuable documents are there.

Who put them there? Did they have security clearance? Why were they there to begin with? It is my understanding that in itself is illegal?

Nothing is stored in my garage that “I” didn’t put there and intend to keep.

You must be deaf and blind.

He turned them over as soon as he learned about them.

Really!? 6+ years later!!! 2020

No law enforcement agency had to serve him a search warrant and forcibly remove the documents.

How do we know there aren’t more? Shouldn’t LEO now do their own search?

Lane, I suspect you're smart enough to know the above, and are just pulling our legs.

I would certainly hope you are not dumb or naïve enough to believe a single word you wrote above.

Let's see, I'm deaf, blind, idiotic, and naive. Anything else?

We have a bunch of old documents in our house. We need to go through them and trash most, but can't ever seem to find the time to do it. You must be a much better record-keeper.

You apparently have a lot of facts the special prosecutor hasn't discovered yet. Why don't you call his office and tell him about your evidence? You apparently know why and how the documents came to be in his garage, and can prove Biden knew about them more than six years ago. And you can show he put them there for a nefarious reason.

Yeah, right. I've got some documents I know are secret and valuable, and I'd store them in my garage on purpose.

“Probable” cause. There is now plenty of reason to suspect there are more which is what probable means.

You really shouldn’t even be discussing the matter if you don’t even know the basics. Guaranteed, suspicion is not probable cause

I think these guys believe they're bullet proof. Just do not care.
Remember a quote from Biden some months ago. You don't "F" with a Biden.
Probably not a lot different between Trump and Biden. Biden may be more careful with what he says. Both arrogant as hell. Trump sort of a clown in my eyes but Biden a snake.
Trump may knew where the documents taken were kept.
Looks like joe is so hap hazard he does not know where they all are.
Ok for folks to search for them because he does not know where they are all scattered around.
May be a worse case.
Who knows..

Biden was careless as hell with those classified documents. Or so it appears to me. Maybe he can explain it in a way that mitigates the wrong. I'm all ears. I think he owes the American people an explanation, despite his right to keep silent to cover his own ass.

Isn't carelessness bad enough? Do we have to make up conspiracy theories to explain it?

In fact, you don’t know shit about the Constitution. Just look at your other post about prayer. Yet, you claim to believe in a strict interpretation.

What’s troubling is that you are one of the intelligent ones but still struggle with these concepts. Where does that leave poor old Ozark Ann and Jtex, yahoos that have to take their clodhoppers off to count to twenty?
