Our system, while not perfect, can be gamed. In some legislative districts, it doesn't take much to get a complete dope like here elected.

AOC for example was elected the first time with 19,000 votes (IIRC)

If the district is liberally drawn, nearly 100% of the available demographic could be either very far left, or very far right.

Here's the story. She receive under 17,000 votes in the primary, not the general. She beat a long time, do nothing, old white guy.
