Saw this on a business card the other day. Never really paid much attention to business cards but I thought this is strange. Googled it: Appears a man or a woman will use this type of notation letting their audience know whom they identify them self as. Really??? So i can typically tell a woman species. Evidently if a man wants to be or thinks he is a female (Gay, trans, whatever) they will put on their e-mail signature or business card she/her/hers because that is what they identify as. There is a similar notation for a man as well. I think he/his/?. Damn, I guess you just never know; so we are now informed. LOL? Oh my... EZ

When my grandfathers were my age…they would says the world never ceases to amaze me — with positive things like the internet (maybe a curse…not sure), space travel, central heating and air in a home, etc etc. Today, the world never ceases to amaze me…in the derangement of the modern human species. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. No, a small percentage of folks subscribe to that labeling system. Mostly young people trying to overcompensate for the hatred spewed all over transexuals by folks like Saeed....who in one post calls them freaks and in the next says he can't understand all the hate in the world. Bizarre. -Every damn thing is your own fault if you are any good.

Bullshit! No one really cares what a person is, as long as that person minds his own business. THEY are ones who started all this bullshit! The want to be SPECIAL!

I'm with Saeed. No one cared until groups wanted to keep shoving their ideology. It's relentless on TV, news, etc. It's in schools and is screwing kids up. This IS what gets people irritated. Kind of like those of you who vociferously object to religions. Also lumped into the climate hoax. All of this is just one dramatic agenda after another. ~Ann

It’s obvious we all agree on the stupidity of this gender confusion stuff. What I wonder is, how did this come about? I know there have always been a few gays among us, but in recent years it seems half the population doesn’t know what the hell they are. Is it from chemicals in the food messing with their hormones? Ag chemicals putting a kink in their chromosomes? Air pollution? It has to be something to do with body chemistry, there can’t be this many mental cases running around out there. They honestly seem to believe they’re a LGBTQChristknowswhat. My point is, you can’t fix it until you figure out what’s causing it. Just hating on them doesn’t cure anything, it’s important to get to the bottom of it.

I think Saaed is right, every year there is footage of the gay/Pride parade in NYC. and you see these freaks dancing around in Speedo's no matter what the weather. Now that is sick!!! Hip

You can hate them if they wrongly influence your children! There is NOTHING RIGHT about a male going into a girls bathroom! Hip

Many years ago, talk show host Michael Medved said "The love that dare not speak its name has become the love that won't shut the hell up." I think he nailed it. I don't want to go back to the days when gays were beaten for the heck of it, but the pendulum has swung a little too far.

It has become fashionable with some I think. I think the mainstream is pushing it way to hard.....sitcoms, television commercials, movies...they seem trying to make it appear mainstream instead of a small minority....I don't know why. I don't hate anyone.....I hate having a minority lifestyle constantly shoved in my face!

You might be correct and I stand to proven wrong…but I don’t believe it is organic. I do believe it is environmental but psychological. Society, specifically media, of today trains the brains of these kids to think like this beginning very young. Preschoolers today are looking at media on tablets. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ J. Lane Easter, DVM A born Texan has instilled in his system a mind-set of no retreat or no surrender. Look up desensitization therapy. Essentially what you are talking about here. My feeling is I can't control what others think or say. If someone calls me Ma'am, I may think they need glasses, but I still respond to them according to social norms (maybe ignore them if appropriate) and if someone wants to call me by the wrong "pronoun" it is no sweat off my back. Frankly, I don't look at business cards all that much so I really doubt I would pick up on it from that.

They call these "preferred pronouns." I ran into the practice in 2020-21, when I was earning a Masters degree. In academia, it's now standard practice to ask for preferred pronouns when meeting someone. I didn't partake, and non one forced me, so left the space on forms blank.

Maybe Roland you started a new pronoun. LBTQ ..... Blank. It made me think of an old Readers Digest story. Some professor sent for papers for his office. One batch with the heading, From the Desk of Professor so and so. The other just plain white. He got them back, From the desk of so and so, the others, From The desk of just plain white.

Ancient 60s joke, Philadelphia cop grabs hippie by the hair and demands "...what are you, some kind of queer?..." Hippie answers "...how bad do you wanna know?...". I think we've seen this movie before, with "ms". This too, shall pass. Maybe. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right.
