I would be interested to hear a ruling on this from the Supreme Court. I can’t imagine that it is not in violation of the first amendment. While I admit to being completely confused by all the various initials, I'm not sure what they all stand for, I refuse to do the pronoun thing. I think it's rather obvious and I'll defer to the archaeologists and biologists, veterinarians, ete., who seem to recognize two biological genders. Beyond that, I defer to the psychiatrists and psychologists. | |||

DSM 5 should be written according to your agenda? I do not believe this line of argument will be successful. Yes, the State has acted which triggers a 1st Amendment analysis. However, this also interacts with gender discrimination. No right is absolute which the S. Ct. has stated multiple times. | |||

And that 1A analysis will be a strict scrutiny standard of review. The DSM 5 should adhere to scientific principles. You know, "follow the science," was your rallying cry. I'm sure you remember it well. | |||
