IF
and i mean IF
he were the Republican nominee -
i would once again hold my nose and cast such a vote.

Although, i would most likely wretch and vomit for days afterwards.

. . . who needs someone like Romney who represents the views of many moderates and independents, someone that can work both sides to actually get things done, when we can have freaks from the far right and left that wake up each day with their primary objectives being coming up with the sound bite that can be played on MSN or Fox that evening and finding a stick to poke in the other side's eye.

That^^^analysis of Romney is a bit rosey and unproven.

But, unlike the spoiled kid who took his toys and ran home crying (read you Wink). Duggaboy and I demonstrate the willingness to play ball.

The problem is you two will do everything you can to see the Sen. Romney and Liz Chaney defeated for the President Trumps, Santos, Greenes, Gaetzes, and Walkers, of the world making it easier for Dems to win.

It is a pipe dream. Sen. Romney is not running.

Trump’s Presidency suited me fine.

I will support someone new in the future Primary.

Santos, Greene, and Gaetz I dislike as well but glad they occupy the seat over a Democrat. People should have the representation they choose.

I didn’t pick Walker. However once he was chosen…I certainly wanted him to win. He didn’t.

That said…David Purdue lost in Ga as well and he was fairly moderate…not much different than Kemp. Not sure about GA at the present.

Romney is still an ex-corporate raider. I'd want to see some evidence of repentance over Dade-Behring before I'd vote for him...

In my mind, he had his chance. His behavior in his race with Obama showed he really doesn’t want the job.

Lots of relative unknowns out there who deserve a chance before Romney. That’s not saying he’s a horrible choice, it’s just that he had his chance what 3-4 times now?

I’d vote for him before either of the last 2, but that’s hardly a bar to meet.

His behavior was just fine. Juxtapose Candidate Romney’s behavior with candidate Trump’s behavior. President Trump was garbage from the jump. Some of us, me, ignored it. I was rewarded for my foolishness with a bad President and Jan 6.

Trump won — saved us from Hillary and a liberal SCOTUS.

Romney lost — because he could not bring himself to put 0bama away when he could have.

Enough said.

You're no patriot then. You're a tribalist, and have a pessimistic view of our nation and its people.

Things aren't all dark. Look on the bright side. Many things, including medicine, and probably vet medicine, have greatly improved since the 1950s. Don't fight change all the time; it's inevitable.

Again, don't be such a pessimist. There are people out there with truly miserable lives--thank God you're not one of them. With all of your successes in life, all the benefits of living in a great nation, it only makes you look...small.

It seems that many of the far right are afflicted by the rear view mirror syndrome . . . everything was better back when. They spend all their time staring in the rear view mirror lamenting change and longing for a reverse gear to back up everything . . . small-minded Luddites.

Last night Biden justified his entire presidency by making sure that SS will not be on the GOP hit list. And of course, he got rid of trump so that's 2 reasons good enough when either one would do.

Like most of your posts…you make some good points.

1) Veterinary medicine, especially as it pertains to the horse made huge strides in my tenure, some made by me. Thus I earned the right to have an opinion.

2) I do thank God everyday for my Blessings and my local life in The Great State of Texas and Oklahoma is just as I would have it. “Change” only has a 50% chance to be good.

3) I am not pessimistic…just realistic. I get paid these days to anticipate the future and be ahead of the curve.

4) I am not only patriotic…I am a nationalist! I am loyal and devoted to this country. patriot I contribute heavily thus get to bitch.

5) I like my position, you (and my friend Mike J) are free to view me how you wish. No effect here. Smiler

Last night Biden justified his entire presidency by making sure that SS will not be on the GOP hit list. And of course, he got rid of trump so that's 2 reasons good enough when either one would do.

So a senator put forward a controversial plan that "requires every program to be looked at freshly at least once every four years." The goal is an "examination" of "not just of the increased cost of the program, but of the worthiness of the entire program." If judged unworthy, the program would be cut.

That senator was Joe Biden and the year was 1975.

It wasn't just a one-off, either. Fast-forward to the 1990s, and Biden did it again, clarifying: "I meant Social Security, as well. I meant Medicare and Medicaid. I meant veterans' benefits." He was comprehensive and persistent. "I meant every single solitary thing in the federal government," he said. "And I not only tried it once, I tried it twice, I tried it a third time, and I tried it a fourth time."

Biden is counting on his Leftmedia lickspittles to refrain from committing actual journalism and to make sure no one knows such history after the spectacle of his State of the Union Address Tuesday. In that speech, solely to scare seniors, he falsely accused Republicans of putting Social Security and Medicare on the chopping block.
