Said it from the beginning a lot of Game of Thrones type Sex in the Bible.

Hell, the entire book of Song’s of Solomon is one big sex novel.

There is a passion in the Jing James version of Song’s that describes drinking a woman’s navel. Some argue, I think they are right, that the text is more accurately translated into oral sex.

No don’t the Bible is more “pornographic” then the Statute of David.

I bet Dr. Easter will be moving to ban the Bible at the next School Board meeting from his district’s school libraries.

Let’s put it this way…

The Bible is not an appropriate subject of class in public elementary school, either. Just for a different reason than obscenity. Teaching it in a mixed setting is controversial.

That’s different than saying a student can’t say a prayer or study the Bible on his own in study hall, or for that matter, choose it as a personally chosen object for a book report.

I’ve already stated that I have no issues with a teacher having a noncompulsory prayer… regardless of religion.

It’s certainly reasonable in elementary grades in religious schools.

Teaching the Bible in a public school as part of a comparative religion class in high school/college is fine.

You seem to be blurring the subject and the positions here. Deliberately.

No, the faction has stated they want to Bible thought in public school.

They also support banning “pornographic class material” like the David.

Well, the Bible has those sex issues.

It is the same issue as framed by the Faction being no depictions of sex or genitalia in class.

More baloney. Those despicably pornographic & immoral things are found in the bible. No line blurring is necessary. If you're going to play the banning game, you are the ones blurring lines. Ban the bible or get off the horse.
