I'm under no illusions that Putin will actually be arrested, he has plenty of places that will offer him safe harbor, like Saudi Arabia or the UAE.

I'm sure Putin will receive a red carpet welcome and a life of luxury ala Idi Amin courtesy of Arab royalty somewhere, likely someplace that is begging the USA for protection.

I’d be happy if Putin took up exile and no one charged him, because that would mean he’s out of ruling Russia.

He’s smart, ruthless, and thoroughly amoral. He also seems to have no one in Russia who can control his excesses.
