When found with cannabis in her luggage and therefor arrested she described her treatment as "disgusting", and she was arrested in part due to her race.

How pathetic can you get. She was released within a few hours with only a fine. Good job she wasn't caught trying to enter the UAE with cannabis, she'd be rotting in jail for years. Stupid woman.

It is illegal in the Netherlands although for possession of small amounts for recreational use the law is not enforced. It's legal to buy and consume in certain licences cafes etc, I think. Im not a consumer but in my various trips over these I think that's how it works.

Importing it is illegal.
