So says the Predecessor.

Now, you loons know why the prior Manhattan DA did not indict.

I was wrong earlier it was Jeff Session’s Justice Department told him not to and he listened.

But I will say this, that I think it's public record that we commenced the investigation at around the same time as the Southern District of New York did. I was asked - we were asked by the Southern District of New York to stand down. We did stand down for probably over a year. And then it got to the point where Michael Cohen was indicted and pleaded guilty, and then it stopped. So that was one reason why we didn't move forward at the beginning.

Cy Vance former Manhattan DA.

Now, Zthe Feds take the position a setting President cannot be indicted.

Okay, the question becomes why did the Feds nor Cy Vance not move once President Trump left the office? Okay, that is a compound question.

Oh, Former AG Barr is making the rounds opining President Trump faces criminal liability for obstruction of Justice for not returning documents after answering the subpoena or trying to hide things from the subpoena.

I think the Fed's position is that a sitting President shouldn't be indicted. If a violation or crime is serious enough they could or should indict the President.

The best procedure would be to impeach the President and once removed by the Senate indict.

Of course, that did not happen.
