Mike, what would you guess he will actually serve, providing he behaves?

80% to 85% in federal cases is what I always hear. Assuming he behaves himself.

It isn't like state court sentencing where you serve a third.

But, his prison cell will probably be air conditioned. Big Grin

These judges are sending a message with these long prison terms.

Screw around with the democratic process and you will pay a fearful price.

I almost feel sorry for the dude. Almost.

That would be fine if he had been trying to rob the First National Bank of Pigknuckle, Arkansas or Pearls' Bait and Jewelry in Broke-Ass Oklahoma, but these dirtbags were trying to steal DEMOCRACY!

Should be given to a dozen pissed-off Apaches, no questions asked, let them practice a bit of ancient culture.

He'll probably do close to 18. Unless trump is re-elected. Then, he'll be pardoned.

What an idiot. All because he is a cult member....and, trump will probably never serve a day.

Not much chance he's stacking Good Time, he'll jump straight into a gang, I don't know if he'll pass the color chart for the really cool ones but regardless he'll be required to do enough illegal shit to blow any Good Time, unless he can roll over on a leader of a prison riot with Federal fatalities he's a great candidate to do at least every day.

Or get shanked early. He's going where a lot of folks have the same last name: Don'tGiveAShit. Nothing they do will ever change their sentence, and more than a few of those derive their life's primary pleasure from how they are regarded within that "family". That's a "family" with very diverse interests and viewpoints.

He thought he was doing what his president said to do, much like the guys who went to Vietnam in the 1960s.

For this, 22 years is a lot of time. Many of those Vietnam-era draftees were in-country for the rest of their lives...

He may well have been doing exactly what the President who had lost re-election told him to do, three weeks before Jan 6th he was a guest at the White House.

Actually, in the off chance Trump is re-elected, odds are better that they stay in. Trump is about what you can do for me, not what you did for me.

These guys will expect a pardon and it will just be forgotten… like so many of his other promises.

Isn't there a limit to how many he can give? No doubt he will expect something in return.

At the end it appears he was selling them at $1 million each, plus whatever the broker (Kushner, Stone, maybe Mnuchin) tacked on.

It is entirely possible that those pardons will factor in a future indictment, he has more coming.

I would expect the next big one to involve elected co-conspirators who got in on the attempt to push the steal through on the House floor, and if Smith is working chronologically the wire fraud for fundraising off of known lies will fall in the second half of next year.

And if I'm not mistaken there's still a very quiet grand jury in New Jersey that would be handling any transfer of any of the classified documents that changed hands, if any did.

Past loyalty doesn't count for much, as Cohen found out. Since they were unsuccessful in getting him re-elected, he owes them nothing...

Interestingly, CNN fails to mention that he used to be an informant for the Feds.
22yrs seems a bit stiff for a guy who wasn’t even at the Capitol on the 6th - maybe a little bit of extra time for a guy they thought was supposed to be their asset.

Charles Manson and Osama bin Laden weren't present to see their handiwork finish.

Tarrio was certainly present for the conspiracy he was convicted of; he wasn't charged with trespassing.

Patience, Saeed, patience.

He has 91 charges, so far, and very possibly that many more coming.

Tarrio is a prime candidate to try to make a deal, but since he's already been sentenced he'd have to bring some premium stuff, with verification, to the table.

Like what he was doing at the White House three weeks before the attack on the Capitol.

And Roger Stone.

And Michael Flynn.
