I'd like some Democrat-Any Democrat- to explain to me how Joe Biden can say he's going to beat Trump in two debates and is fit to finish this term and serve another four years when a DOJ investigator reports that he's to cognitively impaired and mentally incompettent to be tried . I don't think there's any accounting for either Biden or Harris around here. Occasionally there's one or two of our PF friends that laud our current Executives, but it is occasional and pretty toothless.

Seems to me the real question is how in the world did the GOP fail so miserably in their selection of a candidate? In what parallel universe does a group of people have to be so delusional, so stoned that they favor the Republican heir apparent?

It's perplexing to me since we Americans have a history with both and both are similar. In the War on Terror, both candidates failed. Afghanistan today is ruled by the same Taliban that attacked the USA 25 years ago. With the budget and national debt, both candidates failed. With Corona, both candidates failed. A lasting peace in the M.E. and with Israel? Both candidates failed.

Potholes and bridges and levees fixed in our national highways? Both candidates fail.
Environment? Fail.
Energy? Fail.
DPRK or Russia? Fail.

How about a softball throw? Did either candidate unite our divided America? Fail! Epic Fail!

You and I think Biden/ Harris are failures and should be easy to beat right? A candidate, any candidate with a pulse should be able to walk all over Sleepy Joe and lead our nation to victory right?

So how is it Joe seems to have the traction he does over Trump?

Yes, but that is the very lowest possible bar. In a world of 8 billion people there are only about 6 people who wouldnt fit that description.

How is it possible that the Democrats couldn’t just pick someone else who doesn’t need jumper cables to get them breathing each morning. If I was Joe at this point I’d just want some peace and quiet from all the shit and to enjoy my retirement, I’ve done my bit and someone else can stamp out fires each day.
