I assume those who have applied for asylum in the US are not classed as illegal/ illegal immigrants and they are seeking asylum due to persecution/ war or some other reason.

Anyone that was given a Court date and did not appear is here Illegally.

And thousands of homeless veterans get nothing and have to sleep on the streets.

I see another State is giving NON WHITES money to buy homes too!

Not what I asked though, if you are seeking asylum you must have made yourself known to the authorities and applied for asylum, you are then in the US legally whilst the application is decided/ processed?

You must plead your reason for seeking Album in Court. A low estimate is 600,000 that didn't even get a Court Date. The ones that didn't go through a Port are Illegal Period. Thanks, but I was specifically responding to your original post. The linked article was specific on asylum seekers getting this money.

We ( the UK ) also have a migrant problem, but I see migrants who are arriving for economic reasons as different to those who come here seeking asylum, in the latter case fleeing war or persecution.

Of course many of the former pose as the latter, binning their passports and then saying they have come from Syria or Sudan when in fact they are from Nigeria.
