Ginny Thrasher, A freshman at WVU, after winning it all at the NCAA Championship was the top shooter at the USA Olympic trials with an overall win. She will be shooting 3 position rimfire. A great young Lady. | ||

Go Mountaineers! It's great to see the WVU rifle team and its individual members do so consistently well. I was on the WVU rifle team from 1969-1972. No, we didn't use muskets back then, but we weren't very good either. There was no coach, and I doubt there would have been a rifle team without Army ROTC support. Glad those humble times are past and that the rifle team is WVU's winningest team. | |||
