Gene Bukys of Texas won the Super Shoot by the smallest margin ever. 20 groups of 5 shots were fired over 4 days. 255 competitors from all over the World attended. Gene's aggregate was a .2728" moa average for 20 groups. The runnerup shot a .2729 moa average. Half of the groups were at 100 yds and the other 10 at 200yds. Not close to any records, but fine shooting considering the wind conditions. Gene Bukys has been the hottest BR shooter in the World the last 3-4 years. I believe Gene has won the last 2 World Championships, last 2 Super Shoots, and several National events.

That tiny margin is incredible! In a big shoot like the SS are targets continually measured and aggs tallied up or are the final results released upon completion of the shoot? "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

They post each group after measurement. They also keep a running aggregate. No surprises at the end unless it is as tight as this one. You have an opportunity to protest measurements immediately after the groups are hung and you see the size that your measures. The aggs and 2 gun aggs are treated the same as far as a protest. .0001" MOA difference over 10-5 shot groups at 100yard matches and 10 at 200 yards is how much total difference. Maybe .003"?
