Anybody swaging .227 dia. bullets? Abysmal selection of commercial bullets, looking for source of handfulls of different styles to try out before springing for the fixin's to make my own.

Corbin, Dave has a list of bullet makers, the directory, easier to find on his swage.com web site. Many of them will make you whatever you will pay for and in any spec you make. I know there were a number of folks making .227 and .228 bullets for the old .22 Newton among others. Savage Hi Power. I guess, from Mr. Ackley's writings, there was a time that .224 bullets were outlawed for big game, so the 'smiths made barrels in .228! Surprise. enjoy.
