Hi Chuck

Glad the link helps.
Here you have the Google thread with people who said it is a mess and propose different alternatives from cooper plating, and, Michael Kawalek who seems to know a little more and has this project in mind.

http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&threadm=bnc4n7%24ccm%241%40grapevine.wam.umd.edu&rnum=5&prev=/groups%3Fq%3Dhome%2Blead%2Belectroplating%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26selm%3Dbnc4n7%2524ccm%25241%2540grapevine.wam.umd.edu%26rnum%3D5

Google rec guns shows true e mail addresses, so you may send a private mail to Kawalek asking how his poject is going on

kawalekm@earthlink.net

The mail is dated on December 11th 2003, probably it has not changed yet.

I do not know what system Berry's Bullets uses to plate their products, but I do know that at least one of them shoots extremely well for me...

Their 350 gr. .458 flat-nose copper-coated rifle bullet, in front of 59.0 grains of VV-N135, out of W-W brass, with WLR primers, will shoot 1 raggedy hole 10-shot groups from the bench with iron sights from my Browning '86 45-70. That load, BTW, is HOT. I would never recommend it for any rifle but my own.
