A buddy gave me a thousand cast .308 bullets, unsized/unlubed. Aparently, the mould was not a true even closing one, since their nose diameter varies, in a given bullet, from .297" to .303" and at the driving bands, from to .306 to .312. Questions: a. will lube-sizing them in a .309 sizer make them usable? b. since sizing will not change the uneven diameter of the bullet's nose, will be worthy to expect any degree of accuracy? thanks in advance. | ||
