Would it be possible to bump factory .375 cal bullets of 200-220 grians up to .379 diameter? What would be needed to do this? TIA, Boycott Natchez Shooters Supplies, Inc | ||

Myself and a few folks other folks have the NEF Target Model 38-55. Without a hugh disscussion, the chamber size and bore/groove diameter are mismatched. NEF (and Marlins well) is using a .379 groove diameter barrel. Works fine with cast but makes it nearly impossible to shoot jacketed, as there is very little availability of .379 jacketed bullets. Seems that a method of bumping up commonly available 375 bullets made with the 375 Winchester in mind would work to solve the problem. I'm more than happy with cast, but seems a few want to use both styles. Figured I'd see what I could find out. Thanks for the info, sounds like I need to talk to Dave.
