Damn, I've heard of a Brahma Bull but not a Brahma chicken! I can just see this guy being asked in heaven how he died; "I died from a Brahma chicken!"

Brahmas are a large chicken but I have never heard of a mean one. They typically have a 'baby huey' personality. ~Ann

We have Brahmas, very docile. Good Eggers especially in winter.

Speaking of aggressive fowl; years ago when we raised a lot of birds, chickens, guineas, ducks, etc. We had this one mean rooster who literally ruled the roost. We had some Muscovy ducks + one day this rooster pecked out an eye of this young Muscovy drake. Any way, time passed + this drake did not forget. Once he reached his age + size, he started to chase that rooster around the barnyard. Now chickens are faster than ducks, but they don't have the stamina + eventually the drake would catch the rooster, + them mount him + treat him like a female. This went on for weeks, the rooster started to look haggard, looking around all the time + started to molt. He was a basket case. It was a lot of fun watching the barnyard shenanigans.

Looking at the first picture. it looks like the rooster has fighting spurs attached. Razor sharp metal spurs on his legs.. Makes me wonder if he was into cock fighting. this is not the first time a rooster with such spurs has killed someone. When I have a rooster that get to aggressive he is killed shortly. No need to put up with such a critter.

Just back from Hawaii, apparently some places are overrun with wild chickens. Good news being dinner is never far away. Grizz When the horse has been eliminated, human life may be extended an average of five or more years. James R. Doolitle I think they've been misunderstood. Timothy Tredwell

My sister had a dozen or so Rhode Island Reds.. they were gentle enough, and her sons could handle all of them including the 2 roosters without an issues.. However when my brother in law would show up, the head rooster would attack him and try to spike him every chance he got.. Eventually he ended up as an oven stuffer roaster. NRA Benefactor. Those Rhode Island reds are great meat chickens, but not the layers that the leghorns are.
