Bwana NderoboCan you buy an African Toyota Land Cruiser in the USA?
Anybody know where I can find The African Toyota Land Cruiser here in the States? Or any other authentic "Safari Car"? Cant seem to find one... Thanks BN

LJSIt is my understanding they do not pass US emission requirements thus they cannot be imported. I believe the glass in them would have to be changed as well. I would have one in a heartbeat if they could be purchased.

WinkI like the old ones myself. There's a great looking FJ40 for around $8,000 in Houston that I would buy.

http://forum.ih8mud.com/For the Land Cruiser, you'd be looking for the HZJ75 (the typical "fat-ass" Safari LC), or HZJ77 and HZJ76 (same car, with standard 4 doors body).
Don't know about US regulations, though, but there must be a way somewhere...
