There is tourist object on the France-Germany border - Vine Gates. It was built in 1936. You can see trace of swastika in eagle pows.

And here you can see graffity from March 1945 - two months before the end of War in Europe.



Who was that Texas solgier?

Don't know the soldier...but it looks like he was from Mineral Wells, Texas...just down the road from Jacksboro, TX where I grew up!
