At least it's a German based company and not Chinese.

German NGO's are causing more trouble for hunting in Africa than anyone I know.

And frankly, anything to do with this so called "environment" has been nothing but a fraud so far.

This concern for all of us and our earth ... I don't expect anything from your petroleum-dependent quarter, Saeed. And let us not forget how the Arabian-American Oil Company -- and BP -- made your region of the earth have any relevance.
Oh, and I know how much you utterly hate and despise America. Y'all ever produce anything remotely close to Louis Armstrong? The answer is no.

Gonna have to side with Bill on this one. Louis Armstrong is as much African as Louisiana Coonass.

Visiting Africa for two days in 1956, and a brief trip in 1960/1961 don't make Louis Armstrong African.

My South American step-daughter, due to her skin coloration and dark eyes and hair could easily pass for "Middle Eastern". That doesn't make her "Arabian".

In other terms; "a water buffalo may have the same coloration as a Cape Buffalo, but that doesn't make him the same thing."

Sorry, that last bit is a pet peeve of mine. New guests to my house, usually a woman, will see my Cape Buffalo mounts, and, because of the coloration, call them "water buffalo". At that point I escort her back to her car.

Saeed,

I understand that you are just trolling, but it’s sad/silly that you want to play the “race card” like a modern “woke” liberal.

Louis Armstrong considered himself American, not African. The vast majority of Americans consider Armstrong American. Most Americans consider anyone born here, regardless of color, as Americans. Hell, most of our extended families have roots that extend to every continent. Do you believe that we consider our own family members who were born here, to be anything other than American?

Only a small fraction of people here in America believe as you do. And some of them are woke liberals, and some are white supremacists.

Ironically, there is a fair portion of the Native Americans who don’t consider themselves “Americans”, but even that is rare.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

There's NEVER been a RED Indian.

They're all various shades of tan or brown.

Visit the reservations and you'll see.
