For the past few weeks I have been receiving regular shipments of ammo ranging from .22 to 10mm. I typically order from four or five suppliers and many took back orders - some, months ago.

It's like Christmas around here.

Good news is, I'm not running out of ammo any time soon, but I wonder how much more is headed this way...

Good for you! tu2 For many years, whenever I order ANYTHING I write the order down on an 'ORDERED' list that sits on my desk. Then, when it arrives, I cross it off of the list. This has helped me to know what I have ordered and from who, along with the date and expected date of arrival if made available, what has come, and what is still pending arrival. Big Grin

I'll need to go back though my emails and credit card statements. But you're right, best to write it down. I've apparently quadrupled ordered .22.

Range day tomorrow so I'll be making room for more.

My problem is ordering stuff after a few scotches and it shows up at my door before I even look at my bank statement.

Unfortunately, it’s stupid outdoor type stuff that I already have something similar. Ammo is totally different.

Hope the range is covered because this rain is headed your way. We’ve gotten 3” so far today and it’s still coming down hard.

Yep indoor. And we are just starting to see a little rain but tomorrow will see between 4 to 6 inches. As we are already a foot above normal rainfall, we don't need it but it's manageable.

Looks like Mobile and Pensacola got a bunch of water but Destin and Panama City were spared. I'll be down there in a few weeks. Hope the weather will cooperate.

I have a friend who owns a music school in Austin + she gets online periodically + buys band instruments. One late night she bought 2 drum sets + the next day the people called her to see if she REALLY wanted 2 sets as lots of folks get drunk + order all kinds of stuff late at night. But no, she really wanted the drum sets. Nice of them to call though.

I just ordered a couple of replacement extractors for my two S&W M&P 15-22s from Volquartsen. Same thing. They double checked with me to make sure that I really wanted two of them! tu2 That doesn't happen very often! Big Grin

How true! It's a rarity these days to see someone caring about the customer. I hope this trend continues. It is a great counterbalance in attitude over what is prevalent today in our society. Not the total cure for sure but it always gives you hope when you have dealings with honest people. Another reason why I like this site!

Not often.

But many many years back I had ordered a special valve of some sort from the selling dealer for the Escort I was driving that ran like crap only 6 weeks after I bought it. Some faulty PVC system or something.
I ended up buying another car and traded it and then lo and behold the place I bought the car called and said your part is here like 7 months later. I had no clue what they were talking about.

I ordered some Hawk bullets. They showed up about a year later, I had forgotten about them.
