You beat me there by nine years, but I stayed there 8 1/2 years longer. There were worse places to be at the time.

I had just returned to Texas after a 4 year hiatus due to grad school and working in St. Louis and Chicago. I was Principal at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. A long term relationship had just been terminated and I was foot loose and fancy free, enjoying the single life in Austin. Need I say more. Jerry Hoover
