Over the years I checked into many Notel Motels, midday and otherwise but my knowledge of the actual business is nearly nil.

OTOH, one of the smarter businessman I knows owns a bunch of them and he ain't named Patel or any other Indian name either.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I owned / ran one for about 3 years...bailed out just before it broke me - guess I wasnt smart enough to make a profit in it.

Dont believe everything in the previous owners books.

By the way, how do you like doing laundry, maintenance, night shift when the night shift employees dont show up, maids work when they dont show up, firing desk clerks who steal from you, listening to guests complaining about the people in the room next door .....

ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

I own a resort, not a motel. Sorry, Cannot help you out much, other than hard times have hit most consumers and that trickles down to less travel. Not a good time to be buying. Get a good tax accountant first! Jeff
