Then last Saturday his esophagus ruptured. Emergency surgery to repair it followed. He's going on Day-6 in the ICU. It can affect you at any age. Our symptoms were food impaction / difficulty swallowing. If you or someone you know has these indicators encourage them to have an endoscopy and visit an allergist. You ignore it at your peril.
