I just read a news release from Clarus (owner of Sierra Bullets and Barns Bullets) indicationg that Clarus has entered into an agreement to sell Sierra and Barnes. The news release did not say who the buyer will be. Does anyone know?

Don't know but perhaps production will be increased in other than .223 and 350 Legend!!

If the new owner manages them better than Clarus, good deal. Barnes has managed to remain relatively available but sometimes it seems like Sierra has been simply absent from the game, kind of like Speer. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. – John Green, author

Well, the availability of Sierra bullets couldn’t get any worse. I used to shoot them a lot at PDs, but haven’t been able to find them, so moved to Hornady and I’m not going back. NRA Patron member

I've always liked Sierra bullets, (a lot of other brands as well) but I stocked up years ago + have not needed any for quite some time. I was unaware that their availability was an issue these days. Too bad, they were always very customer friendly. As you say, I hope the new owner does a better job.

Who is the buyer? --------------------------------- We unfortunately will vote our way into socialism. The end result will be having to shoot our way out of it.
