Go tour Teddy Roosevelt's house out on long Island. Quite a few historic guns and well as some good mounts. "though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression." ---Thomas Jefferson

Some of the best restaurants (and best wait staff) in the world when you get hungry. An absolute must; Ground Zero and the 9-11 museum. Plan on at least a half day there. You'll be amazed at the material on display.

Guns Beretta Gallery Holland and Holland Gear Tents & Trail - very good shoes (i like to wear mine so don't buy on line) and non cammo gear. Food Try Korean BBQ if you like meat and want something different. Steaks - so many good places. Benjamins is a good spot near grand central. Tourist stuff I lived in NYC 15 years - never went to a broadway show - I should not give any advice. Bar/Drinks PJ Clarks 54 and third avenue - the bartenders are world's best. Enjoy - I was there for 2 days last week. Just glad I don't live there anymore. Mike

My favorite restaurants in Manhattan would be: Breakfast - Time Square area (TSa) - Café Edison Lunch - Lower Manhattan (LM) - Casa Mono Dinner - Hakkasan (TSa), Union Square Café (LM), Esca (TSa), and throw in Blue Fin (TSa) for sushi. All the above have websites of their own. Definitely do a Broadway show if you have time. The last we saw was Motown The Musical. It was very good. Don't shy away from using the subway. It's the only way to go. Taxis will ding you for about $20 a pop. Amen on the "don't live there" recommendation.
