I may be buying a house and spending some time in Tucson. The area of Tucson will be Sahuarita. I have no choice on area as I need to move my Mom close to her sister who lives in Sahuarita.

I googled some shooting ranges. Is there any hunting near by?

How will the Tucson weather be for a German Shepherd ?

Any other info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Yes there is hunting all pover that area and it is really neat country.

In 2010 I did a D-I-Y Coues hunt between Tucson and Nogales and even though I did not shoot anything it was interesting.

The only drawback was that everyone advised me to stay alert to all the drug trafficers and folks bringing illegals into the country.

To me it is really special country and if my health was better I would like to go back and maybe do a guided hunt for Coues.

I live in the Phoenix area and the only time I have gone to Tucson since the early 80's was to go to the Pima Air Museum. Never go south of interstate 10.
In the early 80's we sold cast bullets to Jensons Shooter Supply and went twice a week. Dropped off bulllets, drove home.
