i picked up a box of 45 ACP on the free table at my club... Upon closer inspection it appears that it was a someone's collection of 45acp vintage ammo all from the Frankford Arsenal. The headstamps are dated from 1911 to 1934! From what I have been able to learn, the early 45ACP headstamps had the month and year of manufacture. Facinating. I almost shot this stuff up. I'll hang on to it till I find someone that wants it for a collection, and if I can get a clear picture, i'll post a few. NRA Benefactor. Life is tough... It's even tougher when you're stupid... I have about 200 rounds circa 1945 .45 acp. It’s great ammo, but I won’t use it. If someone could, I’d trade or sell it.

Not nearly as old as the others posted above but I've got a full box of fifty rounds with a WCC 72 head stamp and the lot number on the box is WCC-1-127.....it means something to me because I was in VN when it was made.
