I lived that life for years, in and around New Orleans, and, the parts were true to the life. But I liked this quote:

"in the poker game of life, women are the rake."

Quote from "The Wild Bunch", " It ain't the way it used to be,but it will do". This quote is probably the best acceptance that life is never static and change is inevitable, so accept it so adjust adapt and be flexible.

In the movie Hombre,Paul Newman sitting on the cliff after gut shooting the mexican who says "Gringo,you have shot a hole in me."Paul says."Well I would have killed you but I think you moved."
