Probably because Rawlings have made them in Turrialba, Costa Rica since 1986. They mention consistency, but over the years there have been times when the balls seem to be "hot" and homeruns dramatically increased. Maybe it is hard to tell whether it was the ball or the steroids in the guy holding the bat. I would have thought by now the balls would have been about 95% machine made. Interesting video. | |||
