I can't figure this. If it were 1932, I'd say no, you'd make more money importing bananas. It's an agricultural commodity that should sell for about $2 a pound like dried basil. It's only the legal complications that make it worth money, like tobacco. TomP Our country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be put right. Carl Schurz (1829 - 1906)

Regardless of what the State says, the federal government views this as an illegal business. However, the IRS still expects you to track and pay all associated income tax on your illegal business. Sorta like waving the flag you're breaking the law and that the IRS and DEA should pay you a visit in the near future. No thanks, there are better (legal) ways to make money. ___________________ Just Remember, We ALL Told You So.

the funny part: in Oregon and Washington the legal pot is more expensive than that sold by the underground economy...

It is probably as good an investment as emus, baseball cards, ostriches, beanie babies, chinchillas, cabbage patch dolls, or llamas. If you get in at the right time, you win. Most won't, so count on losing your "investment".

"So count on losing your investment"? Lends a whole new meaning to watching it all "go up in smoke". Personally I'd recommend pork belly futures or trying outguess the G.D. corn market.
