Texas beer. Haven't tried it, nor, for that matter, seen it for sale, but it probably can't be any worse than Lone Star. Big Grin

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

And simply has to be a lot better than Bud, eh? But that's a damned Missouri brew ...

Cool

Actually, after searching the memory banks, I have tried it in Austin one time. I don't recall it as being particularly good, but it was quite a while back. Budweiser is definitely better to my tastes.

I still haven't washed away the taste of Billy Beer. Made by Pearl as I recall. I'm not trying any of these off-brand beers.

I'll probably give it a pass, although the novelty factor appeals. On the other hand, wouldn't it be fun to have the Polygamy Nitro Porter chilling while watching reruns of "Big Love"?

Never heard of it,but that's no surprise as there are so many new micro breweries coming up around here.Yep Gato,I have to agree;the crying shame was in the early 70's,Lone Star Long Necks was a REALLY fine beer. Recipe must have changed. And yes, back in the day I bought a six pack of Billy Beer for posterior reasons.Seems they are as valuable as beany babies or other circa collectibles.Good for the trash but damned not for drinking.

Never mistake motion for action.
