I got up at 4:00 AM and watched the lunar eclipse, it was a great view from here in California.

In 2011, I was hunting the Omay in Zimbabwe, when there was a lunar eclipse visible from there.

We watched it from the back porch here, too. Hard to get my camera to focus on the moon, for some reason. Now maybe time to sneak a morning nap...

Yeah I missed it as well. I live out in the country + have a trap door in the roof.I have added on top the house so I don't see the moon phases now ;but I used to when I slept in the 'old loft'.Funny thing this;when I always slept under the stars;I ALWAYS knew the phases of the moon.I miss that but like any other,I have chosen comfort over remembrances. It is never too late.

We missed it in Ohio. I guess I'll have to live until 2037 for the next blue blood moon.

Was too cloudy here. I was up and had the camera ready to go at 5:00.
