I don’t think I have any interest in them.

Maybe I have gotten old and set in my ways.

99.999 percent of my gun and hunting questions can be answered on ar.

Over time my hunting and gun info needs are becoming less and less. I have too many guns and I kind of set on my hunting outside the Us.

Fishing has no single website. It’s too specialized.

With the bloodlust for killing animals and stuffing them and looking at their stuffed bodies and playing with dangerous guns - the world of catch and release fishing will be boring for most ar members Big Grin Big Grin

Actually, there is more bloodlust and cruelty in fishing than in hunting! clap

Very true - it’s called bloody decks for a reason. But it’s a nicer story to spin - we catch and release Big Grin

Not sure whether "hunting guns" is a web site or not, but, in my case, I shoot skeet and Bullseye Pistol so I occasionally visit those websites. Not sure there is that much new to be said... but the classifieds are more specialized!

Lots of things I'd rather do that go fishing.

Watching paint dry.
Watching grass grow.
Things like that.

One can have fun at fishing too!

We get visiting friends who love fishing, so we arrange fishing trips for them.

I got along to enjoy being with them, and play a trick or two.

Had Walter with us once.

We had several trawling lines out.

Walter went to sleep, as he usually does.

WE got a bucket, put a small brick in it to keep it underwater and tied it to a fishing line to it.

We let it out several hundred yards.

"WALTER! WALTER! Wake up! Your turn! There is a fish on that line!"

Walter was helped to put the belt on, sat on the chair, and spent about an hour trying to get the "fish" in!

All the time being given non stop advice of what to do.

Reel in or let out! rotflmo

I really miss my fishing. In all honesty, I'd rather eat fried perch or crappie fillets -- or most seafood -- than some old cut of venison any day.

My middle son developed a rash recently + went to the V.A.+ the Dr. there told him he had developed an allergic reaction to shellfish + salt water fish in general. What a bummer!I would hate to think about going through life with out seafood.

In my old age, I frequent 24hourcampfire more than AR other than the "Crater".

I am also a member of a closed group of about 175 guys on Facebook, which I quite enjoy!

ya!
