Anyone catch the new show on the History Channel? These guys were dispatching hooked gators with .22 l.r. chambered firearms. I have no doughts on the penetration abilities of the .22 mag with fmj bullets but I know some of the rifles I saw on the show aren't available in anything but .22 l.r.

yeah,I've watched it a couple times.Some things seem undoable to lot's of folks out side of Louisiana,that is just S.O.P. here.I am married to a cajun and it was a revelation to me to see her people do everyday what EXPERTS say/said can't/shouldn't work.They don't read books about it,,,,,,they listen to paw paw.I am worried that the HC peolpe are goin' to make these hard workin' folks look like ignorant dufuss's,,,,,or Dubracs,,,,as my coon-ass relatives call 'em
