As much as I have heard about the Mayo Clinic, I never knew the background story. What an amazing family! The Nuns that went from teachers to nurses were very inspirational and essential to Mayo's sucess. I know there has to be doctors that are this dedicated to humanity, but the Mayo's stand at the top of the heap. Excellent documentary. DRSS(We Band of Bubba's Div.) I haven't seen it, but talked to my daughter, Anne, tonight, who graduated from UT Austin in May as a biomedical engineer and went to work for Epic Systems in Madison. She has been given, as one of her jobs, the liason between Epic and Mayo's computer systems to make sure they are interfacing correctly. She is hoping to go to Singapore for her next assignment. My grandparents always drove to the Mayo Clinic from central IL. They always got great care. I was up there once or twice when my grandfather had colon cancer for the second time. Tom | |||
