It is not so bad once you make up your mind. We were skiing in in the French Alps and saw a zip wire high up. I asked what it was for and was told in the summer people use it to cross from one mountain to the other, and then continue to another mountain. Each leg was over a kilometer long. I said I would try it in a joke! Well, we got there in the summer, and I mentioned it to the rest of our group! They all said they would go, so off wen went to the top. As we got there, everyone was asking "who is going first?" as everyone was chickening out! I said I will go first, and I did, followed by the rest of them.

When I was into rock climbing I would have a hell of a lot safer. Then what the free climbing idiots do.

My last high time job was when I rebuilt the weather vane at Southwestern University. The original was built in the late 1800's. I built a replication out of copper, but it is time correct (that is what I do). That steeple on the administration was over 150' in the air + working in a sky lift is trying at best. Funny, when I worked for others 40+ years ago,I had no problem doing all those crazy heights gymnastics, but when I went into business for myself, that stopped pretty quick.I must confess that the S.U. job was my own + I REALLY wanted to see that piece of history replaced. So I did it. Never mistake motion for action.
