Why are Canadians so proud of their leftist socialist/communist regime? Why do they refuse to respect any other countries freedoms and customs? How would they feel if we refused to let one of their many leftist low lifes speak at one of our universities? And last, what on earth makes them think they are superior to Americans? Leftists are intellectually vacant, but there is no greater pleasure than tormenting the irrational.

It's gives them some solace in the fact that we don't care a great deal how they feel. Ann knew what she was getting into. That's exactly why she went. Headlines for the wordmerchant about what? Oh, no big deal.

Believe me, there are many Canadians (including me) that have no use for our left wing media or views. I would love the freedoms you guys have. I also stand up for you guys when co-workers bad mouth you. ______________________ Did I mention I love Sako's

I susually don't respond to these types of posts as it always turns into an argument. However every point you made could also be turned around and asked of the "American side" I've seen Americans stiffling dissenting opinions, I've also seen the superiority complex that you mention we have exibited in Americans. I love visiting the States but I'm damned sure I'd not want to live there just as many of you wouldn't like to live here. Cheers

Finding a place to live is a big deal with me right now since I'm going to retire in a few years. Countries at the top of my list are the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Odds are I'll end up in Texas; with a little luck New Mexico. Every country I've lived in appeals to me in some way, but all of them are moving in the same direction, just at different stages in the process. In some ways Australians and Canadians are simpler people than Americans, and I find that appealing. They've never had to be the world's defender of freedom; they've never paid for it with a 9/11. Their biggest problems or fears are generally pretty mundane, but that is based on their experience. I don't want to live with as much as switch countries with them; particularly Canada. What an awesome country; too bad it's full of Canadians. I'm in favor of all the Americans moving to Canada and vice versa. The word "Americans" does not include illegal aliens, or immigrants that arrived illegally and then became legal through our stupidity. They have to stay and live with the Canadians. Australians keep stopping boat loads of Sri Lankans and sending them to Christmas Island, until the media, and the country, quit watching then the government quietly moves them to Australia, after making this big show of having stopped the flow of illegals. Sound familiar? What I like about Australians is that they are British Rednecks like Robin Williams said, but the Australians themselves were too dumb to realize that was a compliment. Australia has a labor union mindset. Don't allow competition, keep prices and wages high. Pay $1.5 million for a $500,000 home? Nope, I won't retire here. I guess I'll just have to retreat to Texas until the Canadians move in, then head north, and die in the McKenzie Mountains of the NWT. That may be the only way I get to heaven.

Kensco: None of my business but I'd plan on somewhere besides NM if it were me, Texas has no income tax but has higher property and sales taxes than others.....
The basic problem is, if you like guns, collecting them, shooting them, hunting with them, there is almost no choice but the US. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Obviously, you haven't heard about Alberta. Even House makes fun of Canadians and he's a Limey masquerading as a Yank Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. Gato Now you won't let me return where I was born. What's this world coming to? Are you sure your tax table is accurate and not swayed by your belief that there are no good Bar-B-Q joints in New Mexico? I guess only Californians can afford to live in New Mexico. Horseshoe Bay here I come. (Probably loaded with Californians too.)

If californians are moving into NM, you might want to scratch that as a choice. They are like an infection. They've totally fucked up their own state so that Arnold is on the TV begging for transplants to come to calif and the locals are bailing out like rats from a sinking ship. Think of californians as NYC people with sun block. Aim for the exit hole
