Happy New Year to all! The NRA post in the classifieds prompted this post. If you have spare cash, this would be a fine time to make a donation to NRA. Not tax deductible, but a hell of an investment IMHO. Support the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation

Not to forget that the ILA (Institute for Legislative Action) is the principal lobbying arm of the NRA, and they gratefully accept any donation. They are HERE Support the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation

I strongly support the ILA, but do not believe donations to NRA/ILA are tax deductible. I do not mean to be argumentative, but do not want anyone to be misled on that. This is addressed on about the seventh line from the bottom on the ILA webpage HERE Support the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation

I have tax deductible contributions taken from my paycheck for the past 5 years through the Combined Federal Campaign program. My charity of choice has been the NRA's Intitute for Legislative Action. Unless there is special allowance for federal employees. I read the web page I see the fine print Don't know what to tell you. Pay and write off at your own risk.
